Here is the answer to the Winter Quiz Question

Sudbury Mill.  The mummified cat can be seen within a glass case set in the floor of the foyer of what is now the reception area, as the mill is now a hotel.  In its industrial days the mill  played an important part in the woollen industry of Suffolk.  Why is the dead cat there?  Medieval beliefs held that burying a dead cat in the foundations would ward off evil spirits and thus this cat was found when the mill buildings were transformed into a hotel.

And here are the Spring Issue Questions:

1.

 2.    Do you know which venerable HMG member was featured in both national and Hampshire newspapers  plus on local radio news last year and is about to be featured in Country Living magazine soon?

3.  What is a Stellingmolen and where will you find it?
