Dalton
Mills in Keighley was once the largest textile mill
in Yorkshire, employing over 2000 workers, and was
built by Joseph Craven in 1869.
The mills are listed Grade 2*, and the complex is of
more than special interest in its elaborate styling,
with unusually ornate ironwork, and rare features
such as the chimney.
These pictures give a good impression of the scale
of the damage and the extensive clearing-up
operation that will be needed.
